Discovery of Multiple Mobile Gateways in Wireless Mesh Networks

In this paper we propose an efficient discovery mechanism to select the best mobile gateway in wireless mesh networks (WMN’s). Our proposed scheme is based on mobile gateway learning mechanism, in which mobile gateways allow routers to discover them efficiently with minimal packet loss and packet delay. Simulation results have shown enhanced performance and throughput with minimal packet loss and packet delay as compared to previous schemes.
